Professional career
Medical degree from the Universidad de Navarra.
Specialist in Neurosurgery at Hospital Clínico “Lozano Blesa” in Zaragoza. PhD in Medicine from the Universidad de Zaragoza.
He has completed his training with international stays at Baptist Hospital of Miami, Florida, USA (Dr. S. González-Arias); at Hochtaunus Kliniken in Bad Hombug, Frankfurt, Germany (Dr. D. Rosenthal); and at Tirol Kliniken in Innsbruck, Austria (Prof. C. Thomé).
He has participated in medical social projects in Jacaltenango, Guatemala, and is a member of the NED Foundation (Neurosurgery, Education and Development), where he participated in one of its missions in Mombasa, Kenya (Coast General Hospital).
He completed the “European Spine Course Diploma Curriculum” diploma from EUROSPINE (European Spine Society). Master’s degree in Spine Surgery from Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera.

AREAS OF INTEREST
- His main interest focuses on spinal disorders.
- Although he treats any spinal segment, he is especially dedicated to cervical and thoracic pathology. His experience in oncologic pathology of neural origin and thoracic disc herniations stands out

In teaching
- He has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Universidad de Zaragoza.
- He is currently a Collaborating Professor at the School of Medicine, Universidad de Navarra, in the Neurology and Neurosurgery and Neuroanatomy courses (Integrated organ systems II)
In research
- Author of 10 articles in national and international journals and 17 book chapters related to his specialty.
- He has presented more than 40 papers at national and international specialty congresses.
