Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease is a known risk factor for enteric infections such as Salmonella. This infection can affect almost all major organs. Acute Salmonella pancreatitis is a rare complication.
This is the case of a 61-year-old man with ulcerative colitis who developed acute pancreatitis complicating Salmonella infection.
