The diagnostic work-up for diagnosing betalactam (BL) allergy includes clinical history, skin test (ST), in vitro tests (specific immunoglobulin E (sIgE) and basophil activation test (BAT) for immediate reactions (IRs), and lymphocyte transformation test (LTT) for non-immediate reactions (NIRs)), and drug provocation test (DPT).
