In the Clinic we perform the ABBI-MIBB (Minimally Invasive Breast Biopsy) digital stereotaxic biopsy technique.
It allows us to obtain, practically without any discomfort for the patient, a valid sample to establish a correct diagnosis and determine the factors that will influence the treatment to be followed and the potential prognosis.
It is an ambulatory test with local anaesthesia. A two-millimetre incision is made. It lasts approximately 30 minutes and there is no convalescence time.
It has very specific indications, which is why it cannot be applied to all cases.
