CT Scan Somatom Drive

The double source of this CT allows for a total characterization of the tissues. This, together with the low doses of radiation, makes it particularly suitable for lung cancer screening plans, an early diagnosis programme in which the Clinic is a pioneer and that achieves the survival of more than 80% of the affected patients. 

Characterised by being one of the fastest CT scans in terms of image acquisition, it is also the first device of this model installed in Spain. Moreover, it is suitable for any type of patient, without limitations and without affecting their comfort.

It allows for the exploration of the entire thorax in less than second, offering precise images without influencing the natural movement of the organs and without the need for apnea, avoiding the patient having to hold breath, something that benefits the elderly or people with respiratory problems.

On the other hand, its speed also facilitates the acquisition of images of children without the need for sedation and allows cardiac CTs to be performed on patients with all heart frequencies (even with atrial fibrillation).
